1983—Celebration of 300 anniversary of the “Battle of Vienna”

1983—Celebration of 300 anniversary of the “Battle of Vienna”, in which the combined forces of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and armies from other European countries defeated the Turkish Army in Vienna. PNAF members attended a 300th anniversary mass at the church in Kalenberg, Austria.



A follow up private audience between H.H. John Paul II (St. John Paul) and Dr. R Chylinski-Polubinski and Dame Barbara Bromont-Slawinska was held at Castello Gondelfo, the Pope’s summer residence.

Prince Alexander and Princess Gisela of Saxony

The House of Wettin provided Poland-Lithuania with two Monarchs who ruled for a total of 70 years. The Royal House of Saxony was identified as the hereditary Royal House of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth upon the death of King Stanislas A. Poniatowski.
